This piece took months in preparation and creation: I had the idea of a sunset as soon as I saw the shape of the tumblestone, but I knew that, at the time, I did not have the skillset to do it properly.  So it went on the back-burner for many months (possibly almost a year), until I had the confidence and capacity to create this masterpiece.  And I'm so pleased (and frankly astonished) with the results.
